Welcome to the new CRSA Forum

stack of books

Dear Readers,

I am pleased to welcome you to the new Catalogue Raisonné Scholars Association Forum.  To reflect the changing times, we have chosen to publish the Forum in a more dynamic blog format that will be updated on a regular basis.  This exciting development will allow us to be more nimble in addressing the interests and concerns of our members and also to integrate new features like video and audio recordings.

I encourage you to get involved and make suggestions for content to Director of Publications, Shaina Larrivee.  The new Forum would not have been possible without her hard work and that of Carl Schmitz, CRSA Director of Communications.  We’ll be reaching out to members individually to find out more about your projects with an eye to connecting members to each other.

Thank you to our members for your continued involvement in and support of CRSA.  We have an incredible community of scholars and I’m looking forward to our future collaborations.

All best,
– Katy Rogers, CRSA President

About the The Catalogue Raisonné Scholars Association

The Catalogue Raisonné Scholars Association was founded in 1994 to serve the interests of scholars and others engaged in the catalogue raisonné process. Our members typically research a single artist’s body of work to establish a reliable list of authentic works, their chronology, and history (usually including provenance, bibliographic, and exhibition histories). Our membership also includes those who are not actively engaged in such a project but who have a keen interest in this type of work such as patrons, collectors, art dealers, attorneys, and software designers.
